Satkhira is situated on the south-west side of the Bangladesh. There is a say that, the son of Binchuram named Pananth brought Sat ghor kulin Brammon in his area and settled with all facilities. From That Sat ghor we got Sat Ghoria and after rotation of time it changed into Satkhira.
